With much difficulty...He chose to serve the Lord and gave up the lucrative career. He then asked the Lord to prove to him that he had called him in full time ministry, moreover, in a foreign land. The Lord then began bringing the sick to Pastor Tucker that were healed after praying for them. He later on divinely met Lady Lydia Thakane a South African lady teacher who was ill and had a myriad of problems. They prayed together and Lydia was healed and the Lord solved all the other many problems and many people heard about the healings, and deliverances the Lord was doing through Pastor Tucker.

News about the healings spread from Kroonstad, to Stansrus and beyond. Healed and delivered people began to call their loved ones from all over South Africa and many were healed, saved, and delivered on phone.  Lydia offered her big 4 bed roomed house to Pastor Tucker and agreed that they should start a church there. The house is located at 23 Vanderlingen Street, Kroonstad Free State

They started fellowshipping within this house and many people were healed, saved and delivered.Time came when the house could no longer hold the many people, Pastor Tucker began training indigenous South Africans to be able to lead their church. God called Lydia Thakane to be the Senior Pastor, Mr. Monkoe Ephraim to be the Assistant Pastor.

Pastor Tucker left South Africa and returned to Uganda and has been going back and forth every year to oversee the church there. God has continued to grow the church in South Africa and many have come to know The Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour of their lives. God has now provided the church with a big shelter to pray from at the 2nd largest College of "Correctional services'' in South Africa called Kroonstad Correctional services and the church holds its worship services there in a huge lecture room.
