Do you desire to be involved in something bigger than yourself? Are you looking for a unique opportunity to serve in a place you have never visited? Christ Sanctuary International is a church and a Business and Training Center based in Kampala Uganda. Uganda is a country in East Africa with a 56% poverty rate. Unemployment is rampant and there are virtually no vocational training opportunities.
The “Impart Life Skills program” is part of the Christ Sanctuary Business and Training Center and is your opportunity to travel to Uganda and teach a skill. Previous teams have taught Childcare, Kindergarten, Tailoring, Carpentry, Business Skills, Catering, Salon Services, Computer Training and more. What skills do you have? We are in need of a cabinet maker, a plumber, an electrician, a mechanic, a tailor, a teacher of knitting/crochet, electronics repair, anyone with a skill to share.
Come for a 3 or a 6 weeks stay. Hold a 2 or 5 week workshop, then let the CSI Tour and Travel people show you some parts of their beautiful country. If you cannot personally come, consider sponsoring someone you know. It will be a life changing adventure.
I have personally been to CSI Uganda thrice. And each time our team left with much more than we brought. We left with an appreciation for the opportunities we have here in the States, with a global view of events, with friendships we could only have dreamed of, with a sense of having changed lives, and with a sense of involvement in our world.
We are planning another team trip for the summer of 2010. We are seeking anyone with any skill to share. That probably means you. The Business and Training Center is located just outside of the city of Kampala. It is not a remote or rural location and we have most of the modern amenities. There will be a cost of approximately $2000 per person to cover all transportation, food, and accommodations.

IMPART LIFE SKILLS MISSIONARY VISITS
Christ Sanctuary - Uganda and Christ Sanctuary - South Africa together joined to take part in the October Life skills training. The U.S.A team trained new life skills, like mechanics, flower arrangements, knitting, piano/ key board training, looking after animals, tractor driving, small square meter gardening, and others like tailoring was maintained. The community people were also trained and many have some thing to do for a life time.
God sent us a team of ten people from Oregon who visited with us for six weeks. They joined hands with us in the bid to equip saints with life skills. They trained in catering, mechanics, business management, trained children, among many others in the businesses within the CSIM Business & Training center
They also got involved in Bible studies, gospel outreach/crusade, women workshops, youth out reaches, community work, and winded up going to a tour safari in western Uganda.click here to see more pictures
It was such a fruitful time for both the church and mission guests. Skills were inculcated, souls won to Christ, saints encouraged, relationships started, and God was glorified in many ways.We are forever grateful for your prayers, love and involvement in this noble Christ's ministry.
